Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha well-known by her stage name as well as screen title Gugu Mbatha Raw. The actress became famous after she was cast in "Doctor who. The British sci-fi TV show broadcasts on BBC. Chelsea Joy Handler, born February 25, 1975 in Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. She was one of the six children from her family. Handler was the child of a saleman and a homewife. Her mother was an German immigrant who came to the United States in 1958. In 1989 Handler was diagnosed with cancer. She died 10 years following. Handler was brought up Reform Judaism by her father and grandfather, who were Jewish. Handler grew up in a thriving neighborhood and was a very happy child. After turning 19 she made the move into Los Angeles to pursue her acting profession. To make ends meet, Handler began to work as an actor. Handler at the time was just 21 years old and decided to pursue stand-up comedy as a full-time occupation when she discovered her story telling skills. At the beginning of her career Handler began her journey as part of the Oxygen network's all-female cast of a hidden camera/practical joke reality show on TV called Girls Behaving in a Bad Way. The show ran between 2002 and 2005. Handler was also featured in various programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began her work as an associate to The Tonight Show. Handler's biggest breakthrough was in 2006, as she began hosting her program on E! It was titled The Chelsea Show. Chelsea Handler's Show lasted for two seasons. In the following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all aired her stand-up performances. In 2010 it was announced that she was to host this year's MTV Video Music Awards. She was the only woman to ever host VMAs following Roseanne Bar.
